OCTOPUS SALAD

The taste that children enjoy…

Preparation time: 15 minutes.

Cooking time: 1 hour.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 kg Octopus
  • 200 g Olive Oil
  • Juice of 2 Lemons
  • 5 middle sized Pickled Gherkins
  • 2 Green Peppers
  • 100 g Tomato
  • 10 g Thyme
  • Salt

PREPARATION

  1. Pound the octopus (one or more) vigorously, then put in a deep pot and cover the octopus with water: add salt and boil for one hour.
  2. After the octopus is cooked, clean and cut into thin strips.
  3. Dice tomatoes, green pepper and pickled gherkins, then add olive oil, salt, lemon juice – and serve.
