Anchovy is indispensable part of Black Sea economy, culture and cuisine. It is fished from that region in big volumes. However in recent years the reduction faced in anchovy population of Black Sea, with fishing standards regulations by official authorities it has been taken under control. Due to its reasonable price, anchovy is a widely preferred seafood.
