Taste of grilled octopus…

Preparation time: 4 hour.

Cooking time: 15 minutes.


  • 1 Octopus
  • A few Thyme Leaves
  • 10 g Chilli Pepper
  • 200 g Olive Oil
  • 1 Table Spoon Balsamic
  • Vinegar
  • 2 Cloves of Crushed Garlic
  • Salt


For Sauce:

2 Table Spoon Olive Oil, 1 Dessert Spoon Thyme, 3 Cloves of Garlic, 1 Table Spoon Balsamic Vinegar, Salt

  1. Pound the octopus vigorously, thoroughly, and then put in a deep pot.
  2. Cover the octopus with water, add salt and cook for one hour.After cooking remove the octopus, place it on a tray and dry it for three hours under the sun.
  3. Add thyme, chilli, pepper and salt; allow the octopus with its spices to sit for approximately 15 minutes, then fry on a non-stick frying pan with olive oil.
  4. Add sauce and serve.
